Pick out four silly stories, (no more than two may be ones we did in class) and write up complete solutions.
Keep in mind that the main point is the reasoning, not the answer. In other words, I will be looking for fairly complete explanations as to why it works.
It shouldn't be necessary for me to say this, but just so it's clear: you can't just take the book's solution and make minor changes in wording. I'm asking for you to think about it, understand the ideas, then put the ideas down in a way that can convince others. You may use the book's solutions in general as a guide for what level of detail I am asking for, but I want this to be your explanation, mainly, even if you had to turn to the book's solution to learn it.
